MO-G TAKES THE WEEKEND

The 5th annual MTN radio awards took place this weekend at the Sandton
Convention centre, with a glamorous gala dinner attended by over 1200
guests.

All categories were broken up into sub-categories, Commercial; PBS; Campus
and Community.

The category of ‘BEST commercial weekend radio show’ had great nominees,
amongst them, 5FM – Weekend Breakfast with Thomas, Good hope FM -Weekend
Breakfast Show, Heart 104.9FM – Top 30 with Paul Playdon, Jacaranda fm 94.2
– Closet Classics, Kaya fm 95.9 – Top 40 with Mo-G and Metro fm – The Real
Phat Joe.

Mo-G who hosts Kaya Central on Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 5pm, Friday’s
from 3pm to 6pm and the Top 40 on Saturdays, swooped the award for ‘BEST
COMMERCIAL WEEKEND RADIO SHOW’
