South Africa in Sandton City
WHAT:
Inspired by the innovation of San Francisco, Banana Republic opened its second store in South Africa in the sophisticated Sandton City. High profile guests & media attended the launch event where they experienced Banana Republic’s approach to style, living & a state of mind that separates it from the crowd.
WHO:
Actors Anthony Oseyemi, Michaella Russell and Amalia Uys; TV Presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee and SAMA winners LeAnne and Nakhane Toure were all dressed in Banana Republic and styled by bloggers Thithi Nteta and Neil Doveton.
Some of the other high profiled celebrity guests included Current Miss SA Rolene Strauss, Ex Miss SA Vanessa Carreira, Jay Anstey, Editor of Destiny Man, Kojo Baffoe, Simba Mhere and Maps Maponyane.
Entertainment was by Indie band Bye Beneco.
