Like all the Lumias, the 1020 is also built with the same design the maker has been implementing in its Lumia line-up. It measures 5.13 x 2.81 x 0.41 inches in dimensions and weighs 158 g in weight which makes it easily fit to your palm.

On the front panel, the Back, Menu and Search buttons are situated just below the big display while some buttons like the Volume Rockers, Camera and Power are located at the sides of the device.

Display

The Lumia 1020 is built with a 4.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display which resembles a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels along with 16M colors. This display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features PureMotion HD and ClearBlack display.

OS and Processor

This Lumia device runs on the Windows Phone 8 platform of Microsoft and is upgradeable to Windows Phone 8 Amber. It is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor along with a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset and a Adreno 225 graphics processor. It is enabled with accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass and barometer as sensor.

Camera
