Q&A with Soulo Starr #GrietFest 2014
So Bongani got to pick SOulo Starr’s mind about this years Griet Fest.
Bongani: Have you ever been to Griet Fest, if not what do you expect from it and what do you think defines a great one day festival?
Soulo Starr: No, its my first time attending & performing. I’m very excited to be part of this years line up.
Bongani: How do you feel about being booked for such a kick ass gig, and what should we expect from your set on the day?
Soulo Starr: Like I said before, I’m super excited & my Dj set will be a journey into Disco & House, connecting the dots between the genres.
Bongani: I’m sure you’ve seen the line up, are you excited for any particular set’s from the local act’s and which international act are you looking forward to?
Soulo Starr: Im fortunate to know most of the DJ/artists performing, but I’ll try see as many as I can.
Bongani: GrietFest is a massive festival on it’s own and it offer’s such a diverse line up, if you were to get the chance to add one more act be it local or international who would it be?
Soulo Starr: Locally I think artists like Okmalumkoolkat or Riky Rick could add to some diversity to the line up. Internationally I think Flying Lotus or Disclosure could be a great addition to the international line up.
Bongani: Have you ever attended GrietFest and if not what are you expecting from on the day?
Soulo Starr: First time attending, I’m expecting pure excitement.
