Sport has an amazing, unique way of making a positive impact on society. It brings people, communities and nations together and ignites feelings of camaraderie and pride. Cadbury Lunch Bar, South Africa’s most iconic chocolate bar, is asking fans to bring #MuchMuchMore by donating sport balls to underprivileged communities across the country.

Throughout August, Cadbury Lunch Bar will be urging South Africans countrywide to dig in their cupboards for sport balls that they no longer use, which will then be donated to those less fortunate.

“The best feeling in the world is lending a helping hand to those in need. That is why Cadbury Lunch Bar is so excited about this campaign. We cannot wait to enrich communities when we hand over the sport balls we collect this month,” says Grant van Niekerk, Mondelez SA Category Director for Chocolate.

Our retail partner for this campaign is Sportsmans Warehouse – and consumers can drop or buy sports balls from the 01st August – 31st August 2017 from 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday and 09h00 to 14h00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The branded Cadbury Lunch Bar bins will be in the following Sportsman Warehouses areas: Fourways Crossing Shopping Centre and Woodmead Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, Tyger Valley Shopping Centre and Rondebosch in Cape Town, Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban, Beacon Bay Retail Park in East London and Moffet Retail Park in Port Elizabeth.

Influencers will also be supporting this campaign by urging their fans to donate as many sport balls as they can on social media.

“Our hope is that South Africans across the country will bring on the #MuchMuchMore spirit, by donating as many sport balls as they can.” concludes van Niekerk.
