Innovative technology provides an integrated entertainment experience
Samsung Electronics South Africa, a global leader in technology, has announced its key audio-video product lineup for 2014.
“Our Audio-Video solutions form part of Samsung’s integrated TV eco-system and contribute towards a true home entertainment experience,” says Ansgar Pabst, Business Lead for TV/AV at Samsung Electronics SA. “We continue to deliver exceptional new ways of enjoying sound in every room of the home. This ensures an engagement that is not only picture intensive, with all the benefits of UHD TV, but also sounds extensive.”
“Our strategy focuses on ensuring that consumers have the benefit of true wireless audio, combined with world-class design and usability. Two new categories have been included in this product offering, including the Wireless Audio Multiroom System and the SoundStand,” says Pabst.
The Wireless Audio Multiroom System enables listeners to enjoy wireless audio entertainment in any space of the home environment, from a variety of music sources, including Bluetooth streaming. The system can be fully controlled from a downloadable app (Samsung Multiroom) and is facilitated through easy plug-and-play installation.
Samsung’s new Multiroom Link feature is available for a selection of products, including the 2014 flagship Soundbar, home theatre system and selected Samsung Smart TVs.
With the TV SoundConnect feature available to Samsung Soundbars, consumers can connect wirelessly to their Samsung Smart TV. The UHD picture is also complemented with outstanding HD quality sound and the listening area is optimised with Surround Sound expansions, enhancing the TV sound with 320W of sound power. Users can now also stream music wirelessly from their Bluetooth devices and power their units with the Bluetooth PowerOn function available on the H-Series of TVs.

Connect via a smartphone app (Samsung Multiroom available from the Google Play store) to hear one song throughout the house or a different song in every room. Adding speakers creates brilliant multichannel surround sound similar to that used in theatres. Consumers are now free to enjoy every playlist anywhere in the house.
Multiroom Link – effortlessly share music sources on different devices
Elevate your experience with Multiroom Link. The mobile app (Samsung Multiroom) remotely controls volume and music on the system and different devices, including TV, Soundbar and Home Entertainment Systems. With Multiroom Link, offers consumers control in every room.
Giga Sound Beat – get the party started
The powerful Giga Sound Beat System builds the party mood with blast-off bass and 25 pulsing lighting patterns, while DJ Beat lets consumers mix music to their mood. For the game, Soccer Mode feature pumps up stadium cheers. Use Bluetooth® PowerOn to start the fun and the Non-Stop Music Relay function to keep the music mix playing.
Blu-ray disc player – makes the TV smarter
Samsung’s Premium Blu-ray Disc Player features innovative UHD Upscaling to produce images with 4X the resolution of Full HD. What’s more, consumers can even share content from their mobile device with screen mirroring directly onto the TV.
