Last weekend saw 25 000+ people from Cape Town and Johannesburg witness the Ultra Music Festival South Africa and what better place than cape Town and Johannesburg to kick off the long awaited festivals African leg.
We arrived at around 1pm to the Johannesburg leg of Ultra Music Festival South Africa and we felt like we’d missed the event as there were over 2000 people dancing and having a blast which immediately set the tone for us as we started shooting and talking to festival goers about how they feel about the long awaited South African shores to host this amazing event an all of them replied ” It’s about damn time don’t you think” and man were they right.
The Ultra Music Festival South Africa was an epic two day festival that was presented by DSTV and Heineken and man did they not give us and all the attendees the time of their lives, not only was the line up at every stage amazing but the response to every act was beyond expected we literally ran up and down the whole venue trying not to miss any acts or any piece of the action that was offered by this great event. Bar service was smooth, food stalls had food music was played loud and dj’s gave us bangers so we are already amped over the next Ultra Festival to come back to our shores, if you still think Africa’s dance scene isn’t on par then you clearly haven’t been here, for those of you that missed this years event stay on the look out for the after movie.
