What are you looking forward to the most at THE Glenlivet JazzTown marquee this year?

I am looking forward to being part of THE definitive jazz lifestyle experience at the Sun Met, and enjoying awesome music while sipping on my favourite THE Glenlivet single malt scotch whisky.

Do you have any style tips for some of the gentleman attending this Saturday?

I would advise the gents to wear a tailor-made fitted suit made from a light material with stylish loafers and to be comfortable on the day. And because the theme is African Luxury: Precious Metals, I would suggest that the gents should “jazz up” their outfits with accessories (Pocket watch, chains, bracelets, wrist watches, metallic ties, rings etc.) that are gold, platinum, silver or copper.

Do you have any advice for first time visitors to the TGL JazzTown marquee?

My advice is simple! Take it easy, pace yourself although it is a horse racing event, drinking is not a race and should be done responsibly – remember our 1-4-1 campaign (1 water for every 1 alcoholic drink) and ultimately have fun and enjoy THE moment.

Which artist are you looking forward to seeing on stage the most?

I am really looking forward to seeing all the artists, however I have never seen the Soweto String Quartet perform live, so I am definitely amped to watch them work their magic on stage.

Where can people purchase tickets to join you and many more TGL fans this Saturday?

Tickets can be purchased at ticketpros.co.za.  Alternatively e-mail david@aireygroup.co.za or call 083 564 9400.

WhichThe Glenlivet expression are you going to be sipping on this Saturday?

I will most likely be sipping on The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve as it is an easy-drinking whisky and is very versatile with most mixers. However, at some point on Saturday I will finish off my THE Glenlivet JazzTown experience with a special dram of The Glenlivet 18 year old.
