October 12, 2016 – Austin, Texas – The South by Southwest® Music Festival (SXSW®) has announced additional artists invited to perform at the 2017 event. Each year the SXSW Music Festival hosts an extraordinary mix of new, up-and-coming, international, and legendary artists performing in venues around Austin, Texas. The festival is the destination for industry professionals and influencers, international media, and fans who all share a passion for new music discovery. The 31st annual SXSW Music Festival takes place Monday, March 13 – Sunday, March 19, 2017.
The lineup will continue to inspire and excite as the SXSW Music Festival programmers curate a wholly unique festival experience. SXSW Music registrants will still receive primary entry to programming associated with the Music badge, but can now enjoy secondary access to most other SXSW events. Likewise, Interactive and Film badgeholders have secondary access to most SXSW Music showcases and conference programming tracks. SXSW’s next registration deadline is October 21, 2016.
