ARE YOU THE FACE OF SHIMMY?
18 July 2016, CAPE TOWN – Shimmy Beach Club, Cape Town’s premier beachfront entertainment and lifestyle venue, is calling all fresh faces looking to make their mark in the modelling industry.
The search which will run from 21 July to 18 September 2016 to find South Africa’s newest cover girl, who will adorn the cover of the Shimmy Style, the Shimmy luxury lifestyle magazine, act as a brand ambassador for the venue’s Summer Calling campaign and will be visible at major events during the Spring/Summer 2016/2017 season.
“South Africa is known for its amazing sunny weather, our beautiful beaches and our rich modeling talent with some of the biggest international names including Candice Swanepoel, Tanit Phoenix and Minki van der Westhuizen. Through our search we hope to find the next SA ‘IT’ girl who, through her partnership with us will be to garner recognition on a local and international stage,” said Malcolm Moodie, Shimmy Beach Club General Manager.
Moodie added: “The winner will represent Shimmy Beach Club as cover model for a one year period, will receive a R20 000 cash prize and will become a member of the Shimmy family”.
The Face of Shimmy and the new magazine cover will be unveiled at a VIP event at Shimmy Beach Club later this year.
