Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of Hello Ambassador and you should be excited to know that it’s again back this year for the third time. If you don’t already know what Hello Ambassador is, it’s an annual Creative Festival based in Gauteng, and this year it will take place on
4 + 5 September at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre in Newtown, JHB. The theme this year is Citizen and the event will consist of a 2-day conference featuring the following:

+ A Conference featuring Talks by industry experts (from a variety of creative disciplines)
+ A Creativity and Innovation Expo + Workshops and VIP events
+ Competitions & Awards + A Street Festival
+ An After party

#HA2015 will feature 25 speakers, panelists and workshop hosts from a variety of creative disciplines. From well- known CEOs to creative pioneers, experts, innovators and local entrepreneurs, they are bringing you the people who’ve seen it all, and are willing to share their vision. Big names include Robert Brozin from Nando’s fame, Pepe Marais of Joe Public, award winning novelist Lauren Beukes and many more. The Creativity & Innovation Expo focuses on exhibiting local initiatives, creatives, artists, brands, entrepreneurial projects, innovative technology and education. The 2015 Awards finalists and collaborators will also be featured in this space. To exhibit, please email [email protected].

The Awards: Aimed at creative students, freelancers, entrepreneurs and professionals, the Hello Ambassador Awards celebrate creative excellence. There are two categories: Category 1 is aimed at students and emerging talent while Category 2 caters for creative professionals, agencies and companies.

The Street Fest will be happening during lunch on Saturday 5 September and will focus on showcasing local street culture. An open mic stage will feature emerging musicians, beatboxers, hip-hop, pantsula and breakdancers, skaters and graffiti artists.

Workshops and VIP events aim to facilitate creative development and networking platforms. Workshops will accommodate 50 – 100 people and will happen in an intimate location where attendees can interact with the speakers, ask questions and get personal feedback.
VIP events will consist of breakfasts and lunches with the keynote speakers and will provide the opportunity for attendees to network and meet like-minded individuals and industry leaders.

Tickets range from R50 – R1000. The normal 2-Day pass sells at R600-00 and allows you access to both days including all talks, the #HA2015 expo, street festival and after party. It does not include access to workshops and VIP events.
