Valiant Innovative Creations and its US-based partner, Stratica Group, will proudly host award-winning music executives Amir Windom and Maurice Slade for a pre-symposium workshop and industry meet and greet on March 27th at the World of Yamaha Johannesburg.

The full 2014 South Africa Music and Entertainment Symposium, kicking off this spring, will feature two action-packed days of music and entertainment panel discussions, workshops and Q&A with two of the United States leading music executives. Included in the programme are networking events, A&R showcase and one-on-one sessions.

This first workshop event is aimed at empowering established and aspiring South African DJ’s, agents, songwriters, musicians, producers, managers, publicists, promoters and radio executives with a platform to engage one on one with world-class expertise.

Windom and Slade will lead a two-hour workshop, “Building Your Personal Brand: Beyond the Mic”, exposing participants to some of the winning strategies of establishing successful and sustainable careers in the music and entertainment industry, and building revenue streams beyond the traditional.
